Big Weekend for ht eend of the season. The 65th running of the Snow Cup! We had several folks from the US team skiing and the points were pretty good. Dont ask how hte points work. points are based on your time realtive to the best competators that finish. Mickey was in the youngest age group alowed.
She skied Friday and SAturday on the old race course (primrose path) nad it's long na dsteep so lots of fun to ski nad watch. Mickey was in 7th after the first race and in the clinic after the second race. she landed hard na dwent over the handlebars and through a gate, breaking her hand on the way through the gate. I didn't see it from my vantage point, just the aftermath.
Deirdre got to run the course before the racers (forerunning) and she did great.
took a bunch of pix

Snow Cup at the Bird
Re: Snow Cup at the Bird
Looks like you had a pretty eventful weekend! Nice pictures of the girls on the mountain, Michaela looks like she sure gets some speed on. Too bad about the broken finger but at least the skis are in one piece this time.... Good on you girls!
