Hunting Trip

I went turkey hunting in Ohio recently and found these. The turkeys were hard to find. The only one I saw was the one I flushed off this nest that was located in a big patch of morels. If you look closely at the egg picture there is a morel next to the clutch. The morels were coming up in and around a patch of brambles merging into pasture.

Nice morels!
We get a lot of turkeys in our neighborhood. I think they pecked holes in our pumpkins. We'll have to catch one for next Thanksgiving. No morels though.
