Anniversary on September 8

Post by Grampa & Gramma »

We celebrated on the 8th at a fall social dinner at St. Paul's. Kay and Jerry Harmon were visiting on their way from Oregaon to Colorado, and Hunter Jacobson, now a Ute, joined us! We had a grand time! 56 years and still going strong!

The week before Dave let us keep Jocko for several days. He feels I will get more exercise if I have to walk him twice a day. But he is really Gramma's dog!

This is my prize zucchinni. It is 25 inches long and weighs 17 pounds. It was no bigger than a golf course pencil on August 21, and picked on September 13, 23 days. An inch and about 0.7 pounds per day!

That is a great looking summer squash! you don't often see them get that big except in competitions!

Looks like a great party. Wish we could have been there!
