Hi everyone!
Its been great to get together with all the girls and Margies folks this Christmas. It has been a classic season with temperatures well over 30 every day and high humidity. Its been a really good break and I have until now only logged on to check the surf conditions. Got a book about a chap called Wilkins, Ozzie polar explorer, that I have been reading. He was on the Karluk expedition but lucky enough to be with Stefanson. worth a read if you can find it. So it has been great to relax.

Emma has started a job at a pizza restaurant today, working in the kitchen, it will be hotter than blazes. One good thing is that she will come out of it knowing at least how to cook one dish! Sarah has also gone back to work.

It has been great to see all the postings informing us of all the festivities over there. I'm sorry you got sick for xmas Dave, sounds like you toughed it out. Hope you saved some of that Nyquil for when you feel better! Jon, I was also curious about that massive chunk of meat you had int he sausage machine, did you buy that or are you freezing supplies in 70lb blocks now!

It was great to talk to you on Christmas day, sorry it was kind of rushed, but i didn't want to use Phyl and Bills phone, and the mobile does cost a lot. Chris i wanted to thank you for the flies in the xmas card, I am planning to come over for that Conference this year but still need to finalise my schedule. Will be intouch soon.

On my to do list this holiday is to set up Margie, Katie and Myself with web cams that I got us for xmas. I will let you know when i get it sorted. Hope fully Katie will do it for me. She is good and that stuff. Also will check out skype, so hopefully there will be some new options for communicating all round.

I have posted some photos below, we love you and miss you all!

Merry xmas and happy new year

Hi Russ, Sounds like a nice relaxing Xmas and good to talk to you even if briefly. Had a great visit with Mom, Dad Chris Mike and Ada as well as some of the extended family. Chris schooled me on sausage making which was very useful. Had meat to grind saved up from several trips, pork, elk and deer that we ground. Couldn't find the squirels. They must have gravitated to the bottom of the freezer. Glad to have it all in managable bits now. Hopefully we can eat some this summer!

Take care, Love Jon
