I heard this show on NPR this last weekend. It has some interesting stuff on short term memory loss. I thought this may be of interest to some of us that went through a little medial temporal lobe trauma (What happened?). I then goes into some insights into Parkinson's that came from herion junkies from the Bay. It ends with a story on Phineas Gage, the guy who got a blasting cap rod through his head. Enjoy.
