The Brothers at McCloud

The Brotherhood met at the McCloud Preserve July 2-8, and a grand time was had by all! Judy and Russ, Ada, Dominique, Ann, Michaela and Deirdre, and Jordan and Andy were all there too! We ate well, drank some, played, fished, did some honeydo, swam, scrabble, ate some more, fished again, hiked, etc. It was great that Russ's trip to a conference in Santa Barbara was the catalist, and that he could take a week then for this reunion. It had been 9 years since the brothers were all together.
We hope to repeat the reunion at Christmas, when all of the rest of the family will be able to be in Salt Lake.
The McCloud is a wonderful place to meet. It is an hour from the town, and about a 10 minute walk from road end. Solar DC power, no TV, good water, cool nights, fine accomidations, and fabulous hosts: Chris and Ada. Thanks Chris and Ada for planning and managing such a unique and wonderful week for us.
!
We love you!
Now for the pictures!

I think I finally ended up feeling the effects of the poison oak, a few little weepy bumps on my calves and shins. they don't itch too bad. On the other hand it could be I'm just allergic to work........

Michaela got the mother of all poison oak. She is not that itchy but it's getting really crusty looking. Lots of cortisone and vaseline.

Jordan got some really wicked poison oak too. Andy came through unscathed and I just had one spot. Jordan's is about cleared up now.

This was really great to see! i had forgotten you had taken some video - you have done a lot of work on it and its come out very well. I was wondering whether there was something wrong with me for a while, cos I thought my harp playing sounded a bit different but then I realised you had layered the sound from a couple of different songs! We'll have to do it again guys and make sure we actually get some trout footage!

It was tough to find long enough segments of uninterrupted harp playing, without vocals, so I had to splice some segments together. Still you can hear Jon going, "What?" over and over like he's on stuck. Nice playing though!

just loaded these off Mc's camera
