North Cascades Trip

We went to Shannon Huffman's wedding at Mt. Baker on September 8. We drove over the North Cascades Highway, which we last did at least 30 years ago. The wedding was in a meadow at the Mt. Baker ski area near the top of the mountain. After the weekend we visited Sue Bates in Oregon and then went on to the McCloud. A great trip!
- Here we are near the crest of the Cascades - pretty spectacular.
- The wedding site was in a meadow on the east shoulder of Mt. Baker, looking east to Mt. Shuksan.
- It was our 51st Anniversary too, and we felt young again!
- At Medford, we celebrated Sue's birthday with a trip to the ocean south of Crescent City
- Sue has two boxers, Ben and Duke. This is Duke - he's my favorite!
