Went fishing at a place called Borumba Dam, a really nice day, only got one bass but had more hits, well have to go back!

Is that an australian native? it looks like a cross between a walleye and a smallmouth bass.

I stopped by a deep spring " Blue Lake" out on the west side of the Great salt Lake on my last trip, and caught a couple fish.
this would be the large mouth variety

I think this is some kind of tilapia.

Yeah, those Australian bass are natives, they do a lot of stocking with them but they have to go downstream to spawn usually during floods. Margie's dad put a bunch in the dam on their farm, emma got one the other day there, this one was about 38cm long, probably 2+ lbs. Nice Tilapia, those are suppoed to be good to eat....
