Carrie's Birthday in Rome

Carrie and I had a chance to celebrate her birthday and do some RnR in Rome at the end of January. We arrived on Thursday and did a walking tour of Rome (after some sleep), a tour of the Vatican (Friday), down to Naples on the fast train and Pompeii on Saturday, then the Colliseum and Palatine Hill on Sunday. Carrie left Monday morning and I stayed on until Friday for some meetings. Attached are some pictures from around Rome. We had a lot more pictures from the Vatican and from Pompeii but Carrie accidentally erased them while horsing around with the camera. Great trip over all. Easy to get around with the subway and trains and easy to walk around Rome.
