We had cocktails and barbie at Daves one night. Then Mark and Monica invited us to spend part of a week with them at a house they had for a week at Moab. This was a lot of fun, even though the temperatures were over 100F every day. We did sight seeing from the car. They walked up to Delicate Arch, but we had done this before, twice, so didn't have to go!
We had a drive through the La Sal Mountains east of Moab, visited Newspaper Rock, and watched the sunset from the end of the road at Grandview Point in Canyonlands North. Cocktails and sunset pictures. Home now and temps are still over 100F here in SLC, and will be all week. Very dry and we expect there will be lots of fires this summer.
