Hi Family! I hope you are all well! This weekend Ben and I got engaged! He proposed at the San Juan Capistrano mission gardens, which are really beautiful, we had a nice picnic and drive through the countryside. I am really happy and excited to share this news with you! We have had a busy year with traveling and new jobs. This year I was in London with Emma visiting Sarah and moved to California in August. Ben has been working for Habitat for Humanity in their marketing department which most of you know already. He really enjoys it. I work for a company called Firebrand Media, as a coordinator. It is a local company, publishing news and magazines. I really enjoy the job and walk to and from work which is really great for me! I surf as much as possible and have a thriving garden. My gardening pride right now is my pak choi which is growing like crazy. Next year is likely to be another busy year but we are really looking forward to it!

Great news Katie and Ben! Looks like a great day. Ben was a real gentleman and gave us a call earlier in the week so it wasnt a total surprise. Thanks Ben! Its Christmas morning here so we might empty the stockings and hit the beach.
