Christmas Breakfast casserole

The Giannelli breakfast favorite

Grease a baking dish 9x13
place 6 slices of bread over the bottom with crust trimmed off
place one pound of browned breakfast sausage over the bread

mix together in a bowl
1.5 cups shredded cheese
6 eggs
2 cups milk
1 Tbsp salt
Pour over the sausage and bread

cook at 350F for 45 minutes - let sit for 15 minutes before serving

Will have to try this - no american breakfast sausage over here but i am sure we can find some substitutes!
