Ada's Chocolate Pecan Pie

We were going to make this for Thanksgiving, but at the last minute couldn't find the recipe. Now we have it so I am posting it for immortality! We made the Pillsbury recipe which was a regular pecan pie with chocolate chips added! It was good - really chocolaty! Here's Ada's:

2 Cups pecans
3 Eggs
3/4 Cup sugar
3/4 Cup corn syrup
1/2 Cup butter (melted)
1 tsp vanilla
1/4 tsp salt
1 heaping Tbs cocoa

Mix ingredients (by hand, don't use a beater!)
Pour into pie shell
Bake at 350F for 55 minutes or until firm.
