We went to Puerto Penasco in mid-February for a week. It is a resort town on the east side of the Sea of Cortez, just south of Arizona. We can drive there, so we went there on our way to a two week stay at the Welk Resort at Escondido, California. Jean joined us for a week at Welk. On our way home we visited Kay and Jerry Harmon in Las Vegas. They were folks we met in NZ in 1969 and we have seen them several times around the US since then. We also saw John Williams, another old NZ friend who now lives south of Escondido. Both Jerry and John were in the service and stationed in NZ. When we got home we began the clean up of the yard and garden. Its more or less ready to plant, but we just received 6 inches of snow and more is due in two days! Jon and boys, Chris and Ada, and Mike are coming in two weeks (Spring break!) to go camping! We're hoping for warm weather!

- We participated in the normal Mexican recreation.

- Plus golf. We ended up with a very low cost per stroke average!
