Someones diggin' my potatoes!

The new potatoes were begining to sprout so we dug them up this morning. Now we have to figure how to keep them in good shape until we use them. Any suggestions from the Idaho potato experts in Carmel? (Nice to see Jordan's team won big last night!) Mom is making green beans (from the garden) and potatoes with ham for the first feed!

I got it backwards - the red ones are Red LaSordas, the small ones are the Russets! Dad

I think the best way to store them is cool and dark. Probably in the room off the office is the best. Those are nice looking spuds! I love the small ones.

Great looking spuds, a lot better than mine - there seemed to be some kind of pestilence that got into them, the tops browned off and they died. Got a few back but probably would have gotten a better rate of return off a bank! I need to get the best seasons worked out.
