Christmas 2009
We celebrated Christmas with Jon and family in Carmel, IN, this year. We arrived in time to make cookies, and Katie arrived from Brisbane on the 21st to help. The first thing she wanted to do was shovel snow, and we had lots of snow. It was a white Christmas! We had egg nog and lots of other goodies. After Christmas we went to Quincy to be with Kate and Bob and visit with Carl and Sandy. We came home on the 4th, and Mike arrived on the 7th. We celebrated birthdays (Mike, Steven, Katie, and Amanda) and the anniversary of Ann and Jason on the 9th. Here are some pictures:

- We had a fine dinner complete with "crackers."

- Jon took us on a hike through a large park near Carmel.

- We played lots of "Liverpool" and you can see that Katie is really feeling good about her hand!

- We finished the puzzle Dave sent.

- Jordan's friend Hannah joined us for snacks and a fire on the back patio. Jon was feeling much better than he looked!

- Katie got to shovel snow again in Quincy!

- Katie finally got to meet Kate!

- It was an "old folks" New Year's Eve "potty" with lots of food, drink and ribald jokes. Kate's friend Pat was a fountain of fun stories!

- We visited the house where Judy and Carl grew up.

- And visited the cemetary where Judy's Mom and Pop are.

- Katie took Kate and Judy on a tour of Vanuatu.

- When we got home Katie cooked for us.

- The girls showed us their talents with cell phones.

- And I cranked up the blow torch Jon got me for lighting our camp fires.

- Steven likes to hold Amanda - he's very good with his little sister.

- Mike is proud of his niece, too!

- A wonderful family!

Great pictures. thanks for posting them! Beautiful babies. Love the pictures of Steve and Amanda. Thanks for making Xmas so much fun! Look at how red Jordan's face gets (playing cards picture) when he drinks.
