Russ and Judy Downunder
Russ and Judy Downunder
Hi, I've been a bit remiss in not getting these on a bit earlier, but here are a few pictures of what we have been up to. Its been really great to be able to see Mom and Dad all the time and to have a good chance to spend some time with Jean. I think its been pretty relaxing up at Buderim, i worry there isnt enought to do but every time we see the place its cleaner and a few more jobs are done! I have been spending a lot of long weekends up the coast as have emma and Katie, and katie only has one day of contact at uni so she is often up midweek too. This weekend Mike and Cathy Turbott will be visiting so that will be great.

Never to late to update with some further pictures of mom and dads trip, there were some really nice days towards the end of their stay over easter which made a nice change from the usual run of the weather.

Re: Russ and Judy Downunder
We lived in Russ and Margie's Buderim house the whole 21/2 months. It is about an hour north of Brisbane, and about three miles west of the coast and the cities of Maroochydore and Mooloolbah. Family members would come up for the weekends. Buderim is on a hill and the house looks out over undeveloped land with the cities in the distance. Sister Jean was with us for the first three weeks, and we went to the Gold Coast in NSW for a couple days, visited the wildlife sanctuary, touristy villages in the "mountains", did some beaching, and ate well! We kept Andy with us at Buderim most of the time. In Brisbane he would have been home alone since everyone was working, etc. Jean was his favorite, since she was the one who fed him! The weather was rainy a lot so we didn't get too much sun. It was a major "La Nina" year. We used Russ's truck or one of his cars to get around in. No trouble driving on the left. I'll put up some pictures
