New Zealand and Hawaii

Last month Ben and I took about 5 weeks to travel around New Zealand and ended up in Hawaii for Ben's Mom's 50th. We started in Christchurch and the old house so many of you lived in! Drove south from there and fished in Rakaia, cut across down to Otago and Southland. Drove to Milford sound, Queenstown then over to the West Coast. Drove up past the glaciers and spent time in Abel Tasman national park, Tata Beach too! Over the straight to Wellington for the worst storm in 45 years! Crazy night in our camper van. Up through Tongariro National park or Mount Doom if you like. Rotorua, Auckland and Leigh. Such a great trip showing Ben NZ. In Hawaii we stayed on Maui in Hana.

WOW looks like such an awesome holiday!

I love the photo of our old chicken coup, really brought back memories of gathering the eggs, and when we had baby chicks, and also those times when we would smash the eggs on the puriri tree, naughty!!!

Remember that contraption Dad built to catch the dog that was eating the chickens? It was litterally a big old log just tied in a tree, HA HA!!! (Cant remember if he caught it?)
