Gday all. Sorry to have dropped off the radar from the forum. Just got up to speed on the news. Great to see photos and see how every one is. The canoe trip looked awesome! So much happening. I have been working at a media company this year and recently left to travel later this year. On weekends I get to the coast a lot and have most recently been building a rock wall for the Buderim house around one of the garden beds that hadn't been finished. Also have been volunteering for the surfrider foundation over here running a beach cleanup a couple times a month. Got the chance to run the surf comp at a surfrider festival and met Dave Rastovich my surfing idol and tom wegener a wooden board shaper. Cool stuff! Would like to learn to make those boards! Lots of expeditions on the weekend to Double Island Point and local lakes and rivers. Heading up tomorrow to hang out with Dad and Emma before I leave. Ben is in California working for Habitat for Humanity and the City of Brea. Emma and I are heading to London for Christmas to see Sarah and can't wait. My first stop is Salt Lake though, from 6-13 Dec and really excited to see the family. Spoke to Gramma and Grampa today, sounds like a mega holiday season coming up with a full house for thanksgiving and Christmas. Happy thanksgiving!
