Gardening on the ranch 2014

Post by Chris »

Ada and I have been in the garden every weekend for the past month, and Ada has been starting plants indoors. We've been prepping beds, transplanting starts out into them and yesterday was our first harvest- lettuce and asparagus. Dinner last night: Stir-fry of our local beef and asparagus over a lettuce bowl with sesame soy ginger vinagrette. Plant your garden this year, because veggies from California are going to be costing you double with the drought.

great looking garden starts. Are those spears really that big or is Ada using the bass-picture trick? We planted some aspergrass at the farm but it hasn't popped through yet.
