Update on the hounds: Kasia is a saint and Remus is a chunk. Estimates of Remus' adult weight range from 80 to 105, or somewhere between a german shepherd and a great dane.

Kasia and Remus were enchanted by the cat across the street. In this picture (note shaved leg), Remus has just been 'snipped', though our vet called it brain surgery.
