Ferron Trip in July

Post by Grampa & Gramma »

We left for our favorite camping sites above Ferron as soon as the Fourth-of-July crowd went home! We camped at Wrigley Reservoir - it was too muddy and slippery to get into our other camp sites. The camp at Wrigley turned out to be just fine - not many people were around. Jason, Ann, Steve and Amanda came for a couple days, too. It rained in the afternoon most of the days, but that was expected this time of year, and it didn't interfere with our fishing! We were out eight nights. Lots of big zucchinni on the vine when we got home!

The golf coarse at Ferron is very callanging, but the scenery is great and it is fun to play.

It is always hard to pack up and leave, but we'll be back in early August.
